When I load seamless coop on steam my internet is fine then the second I use either the Tiny pot to host or the Effigy to join a player my steam/internet connection just either stops or disconnects me completely does anyone have any advice?

Oh, you didn't hear? FROM is finally taking action against the seamless mod by disconnecting its users anytime they try to play with others.

Shot in the dark, but you might try temporarily disabling Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) in the ethernet/wifi properties of your internet connection. This is what i have to do to get full download speeds in Xbox Game pass.

Right click your internet icon in the system tray
Open network and internet settings
Click Ethernet
click change adapter options
Right click your connection > properties
Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

if it doesn't work or you're done, Check the box again. It might not cause any issues right away, but you never know.

other than that, it MIGHT be a port issue? maybe you have to mess with your router. maybe the forum on the mod will be of more help.

No issues on my end. Are you on the same version as the host or are you the host?
