Midir is one of those bosses in the series that makes the battle difficult because of how bad the camera is. If you hit his legs you barely do any damage, but if you try to hit his head the damn boss moves a lot and has a huge range with the fire and the tail. My friends and I set out to kill him with a giant bow by shooting at his head and even then it took us an entire afternoon. Although in the end we killed him several times in each of our games. 3 times in different ng+.
Now Obviously DLC Radahn is way harder but since i used Imp Thorns and mimic
it was only 3 tries with that setup and needed less than 15 minutes.
Fghting Issin every single minute of that 6h was fun though since it felt like every attempt i got a bit better and every attempt brought me closer to victory.
Also everything felt always fair.
I always got killed and immediately thought : yeha i made a mistake

Nowadays most normal enemies in Elden Ring are 3 times harder.
crazy how the times have changed.
Only attack from Alone that is not super easy is his backstepp into fast charge.
The rest is super slow , super easy to read and with big downtimes for counter attacks after each attack sequence.
Ha....The same happened to me. Everyone was telling me horror histories about the Fume Knight and i three shoted him to then get my ass kicked by Sir Forever Alonne.
Oh well, this thread again. Little has changed to me after the expansion, Radhan took me 4 hours but thats actually less than Radagon my first clear so dunno....You know what? Anhihilation in Apocalypse difficulty. I know thats a Remnant 2 boss (not From) but the fight is so wondrously designed in every sense...It mops the floor with anything From has relased so far.
After days i quit and never tried again. :D
I really hate this thing and dread facing it 10 times over Orphan of Kos.
Can't parry anything either.
I don't recall Orphan causing too much trouble.
Now, the dog, Rom and Amygdala at the FRC chalice, anyone? Nasty stuff.
If you say he's easy, go replay NG instead of NG+, he kills you in 3 slashes, and you need 100 deflects just to get through a single life counter. No mistakes allowed.
Best boss of the entire franchise though. I respect him as my teacher.
