Modding the game

Hello,
I would like to mod the game, not for cheating of course. I want to use 2 mods I saw on nexus :
- one mod to disable logos when starting the game
- the other is map for goblins to make sure I cleaned the map before going NG+

I saw some guides where they say I could be banned from multiplayer because of that. Is that true ?

Ничего не понимаю установил mod engine 2 закинул все как по инструкции запускал и через обычный ярлык и через ярлык mod engine а мод так мне заработал если что мод называется goblin map

You can play modded to your hearts content without getting banned if you isolate it all to Seamless Co-op saves. I basically play seamless exclusively these days, but never got any kind of ban when I did go back and forth. This included using certain things with my official files, never had an issue. There's mostly just a lot of following directions carefully, and using common sense, if you want to play around with mods and such without getting a ban.
