Zweihänder build advice?

So, I've really liked this weapon since Dark Souls II (I played that one first) and have used it ever since but I'm worried I may not be using it properly. Does anyone have any advice that could help me get the most out of my favorite weapon?

Context: My current attempt at a build is the following:
+0 Cold Zweihänder.
Starting Class: Hero.
Lv: 46
Vig: 30
Mnd: 18
End: 25
Str: 30
Dex: 30
Int: 17
Fai: 23
Arc: 24
Edit: I just noticed my stats are high because of my Great Rune and Talismans.
Great Rune: Godrick
Talismans: Radagon's Soreseal and Marika's Scarseal.

You have to get the Whetblade from Stormveil Castle to add Heavy infusion to weapons. I don't understand the question, "And what's the easiest +25?", they're all exactly the same.

Oh, I didn't know that they're all the same... I just wanted to get to +25 without having to mess around too much...

Collecting Smithing Stones is a whole game thing. You're gonna have to kill a lot of main bosses to get them or farm miners for hours.

Ah, fair. Thanks for the info. I respecced to make a "low level" version of your suggested build and have already noticed a difference. I kind of stuck with Cold for now because frostbite felt nice to apply to things. Thanks again!
