Someone guide me through Leyndell

My exploration got messed up when I missed a jump and ran around until I found a grace. I've been walking in circles for over an hour now trying to make sense of this place. Really all I want to know is how I get to Godfrey and Morgott

You have to walk up the wing of the petrified dragon to reach the upper level of the capital.

Yeah, there's not really a lot of designated paths, it's a big interconnected space.

Easiest path is to follow the big main road (the one where you get jumped by a Erdtree Avatar) and turn right into a little courtyard with a grace, then follow that path until you reach the dragon corpse and can jump up its wing. Follow the corridor, avoid the ambushes and find another grace, this is the final grace before the boss fight at the end.

Yea *smacks lips* it's perty easy. Just go down the street here, take a left at the end, right at the big guy, nother left then right, like'ah left right, keep on'ah goin' til you see the sign. Can't miss it.

remember the grace early game where you got teleported to a bridge southwest of leyndell fighting one stone giant with that one talisman? there is a big lift you can call.
as far as i remember right you can get pretty fast to morgott by just climbing that big tree.
