Any reason i cant use certain spells even though i meet the requirements?

I need help a lot of stuff on here i dont understand. I will have them available and meet said requirements, i'll the spells and theirs never an option to use them. Like fireball just need 10 faith yet cant use it. Do i need a staff? Thanks in advance i choose astrologer. I can actually set it in my spell list yet when i go to use it its just greyed out and unavailable to use.

If it's int based, you need to equip a staff, if it's faith based you need to equip a seal.

There are sorceries and incantations, sorceries are int based and require staff while incantations are faith based and require seal. There might be some exceptions and some stuff can scale from arcane for example, but that's general rule, you can get finger seal in the roundtable from the merchant.

As Darkstorm said, incantations use seals and sorceries require staffs. You will notice that the spell is darkened when you can't actively use it because you don't have the appropriate equipment. You can see that in the first image where Urgent Heal is darkened

Also important to note, you need to meet the staff/seal's requirements in order to properly cast with it.
