Rotten Winged Sword Insignia
Does it really work as i understand it?
I have to attack (and hit) 9 consecutive times to make use of the full potential?
Cause if yes, there is hardly any way this can be achieved under normal circumstances.

It works on several different multi-hitting weapon arts and fast weapons, it is quite powerful as it stands, both in PvE and PvP. The effect also does not leave instantly, it regresses in stages just as it increases in stages.
Of course, if you wish to use a colossal weapon, this may not be the right talisman for you. But Rotten Winged Sword Insignia + Millicents Prosthesis stack, and are a quite nasty combination if you can get your hand on both.

Some spells and weapon skills hit multiple times.
For example Regalia of Eochaid straight sword skill.
Spinning slash combo lol..or even storm assualt also I'm guessing..yeah see these are good examples..even maliketh blade aoe attack could stack
Marais executioner aow..so any skill that has multiple hits can gain adv..does whips need this bro?..that I'm confused

You have to make your whole build around those talismans to get much use out of them but when you do... it's alright. Definitely noticeable but not exactly, "Oh my god I'm so OP!".

Well, time to find some abnormal circumstances, then. My playstyle involves me running directly into all nearby enemies and fighting them all one-by-one, or at the same time if I'm using a fast weapon. In those hyper-aggressive situations, it's very easy to land the hits you need.

Also factor in hitting multiple enemies at the same time, or hitting with a charged strong attack. You'll gain more than a single pip but several at once. Very useful for dealing with crowds barbarian-style.

Thanks for all the answers. My style is poke+shield. It seems to not make much use of the trinket.

That's definitely not going to use the consecutive attack talismans. Good weapons for the consecutive attack talismans are 2 handed twinblades, almost all of the attacks are double hits, 2 handed claw/fist weapons, and power stance fast weapons like daggers or short swords. Needing the 5 extra dex makes the consecutive attack talismans much better too.

For a shield and poke build I'd recommend

Green Turtle Talisman (17.7% more stamina regen)
Very useful for keeping guard up as much as possible

Curved Sword Talisman (Increases Guard Counter damage by 20%)
Guard counters are already very strong so buffing them is a good idea

Greastshield Talisman (reduces stamina cost of guarding by 20%)
Pretty self explanatory. Synergizes very well with the extra stamina from Green Turtle.

For the last talisman I'd use Great Jar's Arsenal (19% extra equip load), Erdtree Favor (a little bit of bonus Health, Stamina and Equip Load), Viridan Amber Medallion (bonus stamina) or one the various damage resist talismans which I would switch out depending on who I'm fighting.
