Theory on Messmer

Judging by the dlc and lore about the Omens what if the shadow of the Erdtree is a place where Miquella is hiding the Omens.We know how people felt about people showing omen deformities.
by Messmers context he appears to want to purge any kind of 'evil'
Perhaps he was written out of history because he wanted to go too far.that he wanted to destroy anybody from the bloodline that possesed omen features.
What im saying is that Messmer was outcast maybe even disowned for his beliefs and has come to where miquella dwells to vanquish all the omens.

Miquella here being the good guy trying to preserve them from the fate they would receive above.

If Miquellas inspiration is Griffith like Malenias is Guts, Miquella is anything but a good guy. And I really hope thats the case

There's a few things i dont fully understand about that video.Look messmers left eye and its frenzied eye.
Also the texts in trailer specifically state sanction and talks of not being saints but being on the losing side of the war.
There is also text from messmeer saying he doesnt understand what good miquella is trying to achieve there.

im thinking messmeer is the older brother born of marika,Maybe they were disowned due to attaching them with the devourer.changing the tide in the war.
It's also wel possible that they served the frenzied flame and were unwritten from history over it.Could have come down to a simple different view over omens that made the frenzied flame more appealing

I thought Miquella had a thing for the Albinaurics. The omens remind me of the Necrons that succumb to the flayer virus, from 40k. They’re shunned from society, yet loyal to the king, in this case, Marika.

If Mesmer was cast out for wanting to cleanse the, Omens, I doubt the shunning grounds would exist. My theory is, Miquella used his +10 charisma to manipulate everyone. It didn’t work on Mesmer, so Miquella turned everyone against him, instead.

Given his relationship to Marika and the whole game taking inspiration from Christian history, I think it's safe to say ( or red herring ) that Messmer is a Satan stands in. That might be too simple but I would like to see the Christian connection.

i mean its not uncommon especially for japanese games to take other culture religion for referance for their lore.trails of cold steel being a perfect example.
but in Japanese writing there is often a twist

What if messmer wanted miquella to fail.in the video he is clearly against miuquellas ideals?
I see messmer as the older unwanted the child.almost like the boggeyman.We arent given much info on miquella for the expansion.
There's very well a chance he couldnt keep things in check down below because of the omens and their genetics
Also a chance he couldnt keep things in coontrol because messmer is causing strife.

Just for clarification im just posting possibilities not stating anything as fact.with the dlc coming soon im curious to others thoughts

Miquella was cursed with eternal youth, Malenia with Eternal Rot, and Messmer symbolizing everything heretical to the golden order and erdtree. Hes built like a godskin, uses fire, snakes, and has symbols of the crucible all over him.

So, either A: Marika hid Messmer for his own safety(and to also further her grand plan) or B:The Golden Order found out what Messmer was and purged his name from history just like Nameless King.

Its honestly painfully frustrating how nothing in the base game relates to Messmer except loose theories and assumptions.
