Scadutree Blessing - Which is it?
I'm constantly finding conflicting arguments. I think people need to make up their mind about this.

Do blessing matter or do they not?
If they don't matter, and you still get 1-2 shot, then why collect them?
If they don't matter, then ignoring the blessings should be an option, thus putting more emphasis on your character build and ability to react to and recognize attack patterns. So the argument of "boring, forced level system" is mute.

On the other hand if they do matter, then it should have a good impact on how well your character performs and how many hits you can take - making the game easier.

Which is it?

With some basic buff set ups, you can get dmg negation numbers above 80, its pretty nutty

Alrighty, good luck on your exploration.
You too!
I'm already trough, doing challenge runs now, a more niche kind than the regular "no hit" tho.

Damn. All this tells me is that I need to do more exploring before settling down and banging my head against Bayle.
Going in the dlc, you get man handled at first. It’s more akin to starting a fresh character in the base game. Then you stack them up, and it’s business as usual.

Then you go back to the base game, forgetting that you no longer have the shadow land buffs, and get stomped out, running through Farum. The fragments definitely give a false sense of security.

Speaking for myself, I maxed those puppies. Still struggled yet enjoyed the bosses. I’m sure theres some dude out there attempting a lvl 1 play-through. I think the fragments are heavily suggested, but not required.
