Shadowbanned for 180 days for no reason? Me too. Thnx Miyazaki.

Been playing Froms torture pron styled games since demons souls, never have i done anything to deserve a ban. mods are all separate file load presets and all done offline. As soon as the dlc drops, im banned for 180 days. i scrubbed everything multiple times and cant find the cause. Still helping folks in coop but its taking close to an hour to match anyone. no appeals can be made that i know of. already beat the dlc and now i cant engage the community. maybe passwords work for us shadowbanned? what you guys think?

that's not a shadowban, it's just a ban

what ever you done it must have triggered a ban what also means your savefile is no longer of interest and flagged as cheated too.

such thing "shadow banned" does not exist

if he has multiplayer, he isn't offline afaik. I'm gunna guess he is just unaware of the level limits on summoning.

yeah it is confusing what he write, if he got 180 days ban message it is over, maybe he means the inappropiate activity detected message but who knows, ppl are strange these days and clear words no longer exist.

EAC disabled = ban, if you're altering files the game will give you a 180 day ban

what a shadowban. No such thing exists.. And if you talking about messing with your save file as in scrubbed thats what you got banned for. Totally leave your save file be. As far as inapropriate activity that is not a 180 day ban and will dissapear just by restarting your game.

I know my level ranges. i have a penalty message and im still getting summoned at sl 150, i never altered any saves i have a copy of all modded data on a seperate external HD that has never connected online. i cleared my Caches and reinstalled. my 2 saves have hundreds of hours and are legit. im an honest man.

Simply importing the save file from another an account doesn't do that. You probably did it somehow.

From how much coping you are, it seems you are aware you 'did' do something and are just mad. Little kids and cheaters deserve punishment.

There"s no need for that. i really don't know and from a few small searches, im not alone in this issue. just reaching out for answers since bamco or from wont appeal a bot ban.

you are on the ban server. basically, for 180 days, you can't play with gen pop. this is why eac is the devil, this is why ds3/ds2 had better player / community run anti-cheat and tools, this is why people praising anti cheat are a problem. there are no appeals. this is all automated and fs has washed their hands of 'cheaters'.

e; to clarify further, after ds3, fs decided that all bans are permanent there. after elden ring, fs said they would not be able to do anything about bans and would close all tickets. you can file a support ticket with bandai global. you will see. i got popped a while back for panties that were later made 'illegal'. sorry op, but you are sol for launch and i also have extensive history with tables, ban measures, punishments, etc. there is no recourse for you.

elden ring doesn't have shadowban, it just has regular ban, if it had shadowban it wouldn't tell you that you're shadowbanned, like dark souls 2 does

dark souls 2 has shadowbans, elden ring does not

A Ban implies a complete denial of online services as outlined in the ToS. as im in the "banned" server im still under ToS and could incur further penalty. its weird to half deny someone. i remember the ds3 bans although i hardly played it online. i keep finding boards across socials of the same thing although some people are just whining they got caught cheating a hard game.

yea, it's a softban, not a shadowban

shadowban is in ds2, it doesn't tell you that you're softbanned at all

Yes EAC is worse. I've had 'inappropriate activity' and had to restart game for no reason; because it fails its own check.

But it is separate completely.

'shadowban' means you are banned without knowing it so you would still be posting or trying something, made by censorship low IQers. But you are 'banned' and it clearly says so.

it's not that they got caught cheating, it's most likely they forgot to go through offline mode before using ce to spawn items. the people who want to ruin your game still can, they can dual boot and stream the game, thus bypassing eac all together so they can run scripts online. eac is a stupid system, but it does cut down all but the most dedicated people.

you are banned, not shadow banned. you are on the ban server. the 180 day penalty is the ban server message. if you go to hexington discord, you can use their ce table to help find and delete the items that are causing you problems. it may be better just to nuke the save if you cant find the item causing the problem however and start over for the next 180 day cycle.
