Do Int and Arcane builds have it way easier in the dlc to faith ?
It feels like every bigger boss I fight in this DLC is strong against holy or flame or both and there are no good melee lightning hybrid weapons besides two.
On the other side besides one boss it seems that everything has weakness to magic or cold and for arcane it feels like 95% has heavy bleed.
Maybe I am seeing it wrong but with my faith I feel way weaker than when I just respecc to mage or arcane

Holy can be good in the DLC, because enemies don't quite resist it as hard as they do in the base game. Although if you feel like holy doesn't work, you could always try lightning with the dragon communion stuff.

I think the game is that way by design. It's pretty true in the base game as well. If you pump your stats into faith, you just have access to the widest variety of spells, weapons, and tactics compared to any other build. Faith gives you access to bleed, flame, lightning, poison, holy, frost (ice lightning), healing, and almost all weapon types have representation with a faith weapon with unique attacks not to mention the variety of faith-based AoW. The same isn't true of any other stat.

By having access to so much, I think they balanced it by having faith in general dealing less damage.

Physical damage is best damage

I haven't found one that heavily resists all of holy, fire, and lightning and all of those options are on the table. Sure, you need to pay attention and switch accordingly, but if you didn't want to do that you'd just play bleed instead.

I hate to tell you, but Lazer beam and Meteorites of Astel CLOBBER the bosses in the DLC.
I got the HUGE Iron Fire Golem to 12% health with the meteorites.

Faith strength build and while I did initially have issues with the enemy damage output, once I adjusted I've found my damage output to be pretty good. Using the endgame boss hammer and a great shield with the beast claw talisman.

Yes and no.

Intelligence builds are the easiest at staying alive.
Arcane builds have the easiest damage.
Faith builds are one of the most powerful though, you just need to know what you're doing.

Golden Vow requires 25 faith and gives +15% extra damage for 104 seconds with Old Lord Talisman. Flame Grant Me Strength is +20% damage for 39 seconds and requires 16 faith. Not to mention protection incantations give some massive negation for relatively high faith costs. The buffs alone will mean the holy resistance of most enemies isn't a problem and you're still tankier than most other builds for most of the fight. Old Lord's Talisman is pretty much locked for my current high faith build.

You should also try and get 2 Erdsteel daggers. Pretty sure they're the only good faith scaling weapons that do neither Fire or Holy damage if you're really desperate. But honestly, they aren't really necessary. I just like them because they're cool. Otherwise, try Rellana's Twin Blades. They do some fire damage and require high stats across the board but are pretty cool DLC weapons that scale well with faith.

Many offensive incantations do physical damage through beast incantations, or ALL the lighting incantations available.
