Is their an ending in the dlc such as a mending rune or quest ending for the main game?

So I can complete the dlc and I won’t get a mending rune so I won’t need to complete the game again to witness another ending?

You just get an optional short cutscene after beating the final boss that adds some(honestly not really any) context to a single event that is exclusive to the dlc's story and a lore thread related to it. Nothing in the DLC affects the main games story or endings

Hmm okay, so not a new ending. Just a small additional scene. I'll have to look that up after I finish the dlc then since I already beat the game :X
