Messmer the Impaler Glitch

During 2nd phase near the ledge, Messmer launched serpent attack again and disappeared then died, unfortunately I wasn't recording before it happened. So those who are stuck with try to do the same as me, to see if it's possible to replicate the glitch [Read Video Description]

That's funny actually, I like these type of bugs, wasn't expecting it, because the boss was destroying me over & over, that I was about to change my build again, then this happened I wish I was recording the whole fight lol, I guess if they notice my post, they will give him a barrier, but this bug if can be done anytime it would be helpful for speedrunners.

I fought him like 80 times today as a summon and something like this happened three times. All during the phase transition. I think its wherever the target of the snake orb is standing causes it to clip into the wall. I saw him glitched there behind the altar a couple times.

This is why the dlc is dogwater. Full of bugs like this. This was a great fight, so you missed out bigly.

So it became a common instance to happen.

No Idea, didn't fight him again, he's weak to bleed, use thorns build very effective.

Hey I've had this happen once when I was helping someone as co-op, he did one his serpent attacks in second phase and went right through the barrier and fell out of bounds. It was the greatest thing ever.

This is up there with the Radagon AI breaking if you ran into him at the start of the fight when the game released.

Yes, Indeed, I wasn't waiting for it, in fact if I lost that battle I was going to switch build lol
