whats a legacy dungeon ?
sounds completely made up tbh, like what does that even mean and how is it special then just a normal dungeon? its just that a temple, big or small. people are just adding it to make it sound fancy when its not

ain't "legacy dungeon", being a "level" or "area" that reminds of corridor walking stuff in "dark souls" being the "legacy" of the "series"?

legacy is a term coined by fromsoftware themself before the launch of elden ring. legacy dungeon are places mostly seperated from the open world that are in legacy so to speak to prior fromsoftware games world design. kinda like putting dark souls 3 areas into the open world with more detailed, big and fancy maze like structures. i dont really get why you are looking for something to hate on this but whatever. you do you

Self-contained areas more reminiscent of older FS titles, primarily Demon's Souls onward. Pretty much any overworld dungeon (not the cave, catacombs, graves, etc) you can't ride Torrent in. It's in the name. :2016bee:
