Which are the most challenging of the DLC bosses?

Fought my first very challenging one. Spent 2 hours trying to drill messmer down at 11 blessing, using a dumb meme weapon (amog) because i like soul calibur and monster hunter. SUS. Even then, he reminded me of the first time I fought godfrey, relentless and doesn't let you heal.

Either way, it was time well spent, and I enjoyed fighting him. I died twice 1 hit away from defeating him, which is the battles I love.

Also beat the knight at the bottom of the pit, he was hard AF, kills me in 2 hits, but I beat him with another meme weapon - blacksteel greathammer with order's blade and savage lion. That one I felt was quite unfair, but I was doing mad damage to him, which wasn't fair either, so they cancel each other out.

Is he the worst of the lot other than final boss? Any other hard bosses? Who are people mostly complaining about?

the one boss i had most problems was gaius.
but unlike the others, who were ta tough but interesting challenge, gaius was tough but not fun.

other bosses ppl complain include rellana,bayle (even tho the fight is awesome) and the final boss.

Blacksteel greathammer isn't a meme, it's actually pretty good, especially with the deflecting tear.

Anyway, final boss is hardest, then rellana, then messmer IMO. Although the 1v5 before the final boss is the hardest but it's not quite a boss fight. Took me like 50+ attempts to beat em all by myself.

how can you say relanna is harder than messmer. messmer is so much more attacks for so much more damage. i spent like 30 mins on relanna on 3 scadu and 4 hours on messmer on 11 scadu. he has like 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attacks, the grab (which he pulls out like every 5th attempt it feels like), the overhead into many spears into jump into aoe, which has a tricky timing + camera ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and then the big aoe snakes, which i still dont understand. relanna is like chill rhythmic dodging :D.

i feel like as always hardest boss depends also no how powerful you are at each one. but i for me the two hard bosses so far were the dancing tiger and messmer. i have 5 remembrance bosses so far. i havent fought gaius or the final boss.

Absolutly commander gaius, and not because his fight is challenging, its because its totally broken, messmer is probably the hardest boss in the game that is actually a fair fight, but i do i have a small gripe that phase 2 has some more pretty weird hitboxes.

Because messmer actually has openings between and even during his attacks. The thing about those long delays is you can actually punish them. You can even hit him several times after his attacks. You can get 3 quick hits after his big slam into explosion. When the snakes come down, he's very vulnerable. This is a great boss.

Rellana is spammy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You walk away from her until she does the one punishable attack and poke her one time. Did you summon for this fight?

Final boss is the hardest in the entire game for me. It felt (mostly) fair to me, ik other people don't like it.

What about commander gaius was broken? I honestly don't remember anything about his fight but I do remember getting a little annoyed at it.

Messmer has shorter combos and nothing as tricky to avoid as the stanced magic wave thing that Rellana has. He is still quite challenging though, I just found Rellana harder. Messmer took me about 5 tries and Rellana was nearly 30. Final boss was only 15 ish.

The actual hardest boss fight in the game though is the 1v5. Since I refuse to summon, even for that, having to solo all 5 of them, 3 at a time while they all spam ranged attacks was ridiculous. Had to minmax my strategy to burn down freya and hornsent before moore could spawn and then hope I can somehow fit in some well placed waterfowls to take down Dane and then even the first time I did that I still got killed by Leda. ♥♥♥♥ took well over 50 tries. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if I reached 100 attempts.

For me it was Commander Gaius and the final boss, and they were challenging for all the wrong reasons.

The group fight was easier, because i had Ansbach and Thiollier on my side, and i killed Freyja earlier to get her stuff. Also hornsent was already dead cause he invaded me before Romina and i killed him. So basically it was a 3 v 3 without summoning anything.

I've been bashing my head in with Bayle for the last 2 hours, it's an awesome fight and I'd say the NPC summon is a must not because of aggro pull or anything, but because his constant screaming at the boss is some much needed hype for a tough fight.

The only thing I hate about Bayle is his long-range fire spew. There seems to be no way of consistently dodging it, or rather, the further you are, the harder it is, and there's no reliable way to close the distance, so once he jumps away and turns around, it's up to random chance.

The last boss gave me the most trouble Bayle was rough and Gaius was as well Mesmer is probably the best out of all of them very fun fight.

The long range fire I usually beat by just running towards the left. The problem with it though during his second phase is that it looks like he reads your movements with the move and will aim it towards the left or right based on where you are. That, or he just picks a direction randomly, which is worse
