DLC Final boss difficulty
I can't figure out what the problem is with the final boss. I've been going through the entire game pretty smoothly up until this point. I've always beaten bosses with summons, since I don't have that much free time. Especially when you're over 30 and you come home tired after work. Especially since I beat the original game on NG+. What's the point of all this. I have the Lusat Staff and the Moonveil. Scadutree fragments +16 and reversed spirit ash +8. But Radan is still too strong. Four of us beat him: Me, Mimic Tear, Ansbach and Thiollier. We take away more than half of his HP, and Radan simply kills my summons. Literally, no boss has ever done this before. Of course, you can tell me to pick another build, but this literally proves the fact that the boss is broken and there are certain combinations of sets with which you will defeat him and with which you won't, right? And please, don't spam with skill and gitgut. I really admire those people who solo bosses. But you can't just blame other people for their lack of skills in response to every question or complaint. We all know what this series of games is like. I'm really interested in your opinion.

That's the point all of us who are criticizing the DLc are trying to make. The game doesn't allow for different builds and playstyles. You're forced to play a certain way and use a certain build for a higher likelihood of winning and if you don't play that way 1000's of sweaty basement dwellers will scream "YOU'RE JUST BAD" at the top of their lungs while they claim all the bosses were "easy" with a Blood Mimic Cheese build. It's so ridiculous.

No problem really. Radahn was extremely damaging in the base game and killed all your summons. Nothing has changed. This time he has a friend and an extra damage type. Yet you can still tank him with fingerprint shield and massive poise armor sets. In fact, blocking is probably the best way to deal with him because it doesn't care how strong his physical attacks are, it negates them 100%.

He's also tanky, just like the base game, so DPS builds will struggle a bit because you can't just burn him to death like you can with ... well, everyone else.

My friend also struggled and simply summoned a cooperate who sported the full tank setup. The summon just blocked the entire fight while my friend spammed his magic from range.

Either you're a dodging god and play in Ultra Instinct mode. Either you use a shield + blocking talisman + mage shield buff + mimic + bleeding weapon.
