Funny enough I think the flame serpent spell is the best cost and use spell in the dlc.
All the flashy one's have dogwater damage and animation locks that are good luck in getting them off with these bosses.
To answer that the discus is good for long range but doesn't do much, and the fireball has a high chance of failing to generate the explosion, either due to being too high or hit out of the cast, shame too, it actually does good damage.
Further on, I think the triple golden arc is bugged as it takes three casts for one spell, it doesn't seem like it's meant to do that, so instead of 12fp it's more 36 and stamina cost?
running a pyromancer build rn and messmer's orb is cool but enemies can knock you out of it if you're not careful
Mmmm it's a shame to hear that it's not just me.
Does From usually buff things post launch? This is my first time being on-time for a DLC release in a fromsoft game.
Super bombs, FP regen, dragon form buff, super greases, arcane form... throwing meat at people..
You can get that new lightning that shoots off like, 20 rounds. Playing a str build, so I'm not using them, so it's hard to remember them all. Some really cool Pyromancys that are faith only requirements. Heal from Afar and Minor Erdtree seem totally awesome, and I can't wait to respec and try them. I might just make a new character again, tho, I'm really liking the Str build, rn.
You can get those multihiting "white ghost" glintstone spells, and if they're anything like the NPC ones, they're insane.
Plus theres that trinket that regens mana now. Honestly, seems like they were really generous to casters. Still using my Giant Killer and Crucible armor. Though that rapid fire crossbow makes an awesome backup for people trying to be annoying with range. I offhand that, for just in case.
I'm surprised there's no multi-shot fire serpent like the fire knights use though, seems like a no-brainer but it's not there.
