What Smith Script weapon should I focus on for my next play through?
Anyone played with these?
I know the Daggers are junk, but I am having a hard time deciding between the Cirque (back hand blades), the Great Hammer or the spear?

The throwing gameplay is really fun.

I haven't really tried them yet personally, but I've heard that the shield is fantastic.

They all kinda suck tbh. Hammer takes ridiculously long to throw, spear does no damage, Cirques are the best but still mediocre all things considered.

None of them can be buffed or use ashes of war that empower the weapon's damage.

Its not about super optimal always.

Do you only play with the Blaphemous Blade? Its the Best weappon in the game imo?

Great Shield Endurance tank with Thusting weapon + Blaphemous blade is kinda boring.

Go with the daggers, maximum pain!

What's with the hostility? No, I never used the blasphemous blade, I pick weapons based on looks, and that thing looks liks sh*t

I'm not talking optimal, I'm saying smith weapons are below average.

I don't use any of that, i use a greathammer because i like squashing things.

The cirque is quite fun to use for the R1 attack, however I felt the R2s to be a little off. The range is kind of short and the hit box is a bit weird but not too bad. Not my playstyle so I didn't put much time into them other than testing.

I may actually switch to the Greathammer for my current run, it seems like a blast from testing I did.

My buddy said the Axe with Flame infusion hits like a truck. With massive stance damage and hard hits

Sorry reading it again it came off a bit snarky, not meant to be.
I find all the smith script weapons excluding Dagger scale very well in Flame Art infusion late game when you can spread your stats out.

I am going through with the daggers with ashes of war Shriek of Sorrow with Rakshasha full set... it is strong... BUT the daggers will hit targets and do nothing... the graphic goes about 33% further than the actual hit and it is very frustrating.

I wish they would have them hit where they exist when thrown OR make them only appear as far as they actually hit. Really want to do this throwing build run for the lulz.

BTW I have bleed set and it bleeds em fast.

Been using the greathammer and having a lot of fun. with heavy infusion at +24 and a few buffs like flame grant me strength and the axe talisman i'm doing around 2k damage per fully charged throw. strong enough to one shot weak enemies. Plus it knocks over most tougher enemies like flame knights. its just really fun to use!
