Been using this DS4 for years. Beat Elden Ring with it. Go to play Shadow of the Erdtree and its all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Either my R1, R2 and L2 are completely unresponsive, or they are mapped to the x and y axis of my camera control. I've tried disabling Steam Input, disabling DS4Windows, reenabling DS4Windows as a 360 controller, disabling everything, enabling everything.
What the ♥♥♥♥ is going on here?
im not too familiar with the ds4 controllers bc ive always had a elite series 2 but i did try and get one to work and it was also unresponsive even after installing ds4windows and doing all those steps, i really wish i had something other than the same thing i said for lava wings theres a possibility it fixes your issue
The cause of my issue was because I had a racing rig (handbrake, gear shift and pedals) connected via USB at the same time, As soon as the rig was disconnected the controller worked within the game straight away, even with Steam controller support disabled.
No other game of mine has ever experienced this issue other than Elden Ring btw, so I'm assuming when the game can see too many inputs (or at least inputs that can't be used), it throws the software out and disables everything except keyboard and mouse.
