The amount of issues I've been having with the game in the past week or two after playing it on and off since launch with no issues at all apart from losing a character to hackers putting it in a never ending death loop shortly after launch makes me feel there's either a big steam or game error causing stuff like this to happen. Just to list all the issues I've had in the past week alone:
The game CTD's on a white screen as soon as I launch it.
Tried all the fixes commonly listed and none worked.
Uninstalled the game and reinstalled on my SSD only for a 'Corrupt Update Files' to occur.
Uninstalled Steam and the game and moved both on my SSD and it worked.
As soon as I start the DLC If I tried playing online I would constantly get 'inappropriate activity detected' and forced offline.
Then finally two days late my save file gets corrupted.
I seriously doubt that any of these are issues with my system as before I moved both Steam and the game onto my SSD I factory reset the laptop, formatted both drives in it, then updated literally every driver possible only to get that file corruption and I've just attempted to download it on my HDD again only to get the same 'Corrupt Update Files' error as before.
Now I have to play the whole game again because the only thing that worked was creating a new save.
