I am glad fromsoftware is getting their game review bombed for difficulty.

I'm a casual, I am also better at FPS games because thats what i grew up on. When i first bought ER i was so excited because people said it was easier that dark souls but I was never able to beat much beyond that little camp of knights at the beginning zone and carriages with some weapons in them to pick up. FromSoftware should've added difficulty levels like literally any other RPG game because not everyone wants to take their games seriously and now they've taken a step too far and even the pro xd rawr gamers of youtube are struggling. I know people are going to hate on this take and that's fine but the reality is gaming shouldn't have to be as stressful as a job, I shouldn't have to deal with trolls spamming rivers because i want to play with my friend. A game shouldn't be so frustrating to play that i pushed my thumb-sticks though the controller board trying to kill some of the very first bosses(not talking about the mounted knight in the beginning zone). I hope Fromsoftware learns a valuable lesson in this and makes their games for a wider audience in the future.

Ps. This isn’t intended as bait, contrary to what you think. It’s interesting how people cant comprehend a different viewpoint and therefore must invalidate it by calling it bait lest they come to terms with reality or agree to disagree like adults. Typical Steam forums moment

This is probably bait but in case it isn't go back to Ubisoft they already make games for people like you not everything has to be dumbed down slop.

It's not getting 'review bombed' it's just getting plain reviewed, anytime people leave negative or non kiss ass reviews people get it in their heads it's automatically a review bomb. Hellidvers 2 review bombed after the PSN fiasco, this is not a review bomb.

Yea Miyazaki has never been a good game developer he's just had good ideas. From a software standpoint, Fromsoft's games are a technical nightmare and coded horribly. They had two years for this DLC and they can't even be bothered to add achievements. I believe what we are seeing is they've reached their ceiling on ideas and skill. There are smaller companies out there making better souls games.

exactly. Review bomb suggests a motive. These are just plain reviews from people who are not having fun with it.
