Yeh, no. 100% wrong. The horse is not fast enough to outspeed the boar. EVER.
That never worked for me and I have no interest in fighting this with the extremely poor horse controls.
it is a disgusting build, but it is a disgusting boss as well
dismount after that and good luck
There's even some strange interaction if you happen to be right in front of the boss when he initiates the charge move. This will result in you getting hit more than once in a single instance sometimes, instantly killing me from full health lol. Not exactly a boss I felt satisfied even after beating him.
My suggestion would be either to go light-equip load (to increase your roll distance), use blood-hound step on your main-weapon (or a secondary dagger), or maybe some other item to increase your i-frames.
You,re a funny guy. Used a greatshield, that charge instantly removed half my hp and broke my stamina. Not everyone is running 75 endurance. This is the worst tip I have ever read.
But you don't need frame perfect input, you can use Bloodhound's Step, Windy Crystal Tear to increase i-frames, a greatshield with barricade shield AoW and so on
