Respectfully, what moron put Hornsent's summon sign INSIDE the boss room?

Yeah, so in the DLC, an npc named "Hornsent" wants you to summon him to help you fight a particular boss (that I won't name for spoilers) that's tied to his lore. Its the final boss for his questline I believe, but when you get to that boss fight for some reason his summon sign is IN the boss room.

Not before the boss fogwall you enter like in almost every souls game instance, its DURING this particular boss fight that you were supposed to summon him to properly complete his questline. I had to look it up because I didn't see or know the damn thing was even there when entering, not to mention I was target locked on to boss and also focused on trying to retrieve my souls when I lost them during every boss attempt so I feel like in hindsight, it still is a bit silly that you'd have to summon that npc during that particular fight amidst all the chaos, that it just seams quite miss-able, especially if you're trying to focus on staying alive in that fight.

I just thought that was a bit silly frankly that it was implemented that way for this fight, and then once you beat the boss Hornsent is in the arena and hes sad that he didn't get summoned....

Man he seriously shoulda found a better parking spot for that summon sign, my goodness...

They do this twice So far that I have found. Another NPC later on has summon in boss room and boss attacks as soon as you enter the room.

So happy i am not the only one unbelievably frustrated at this. It is such a hindrance to the boss fight. Basically the whole first half of the fight is just me trying to summon the npc and get my tear off with out dying. I can't even enjoy the fight. I ran into this on another side boss previously. With the bosses immediately attacking with no intro, it's the dumbest decision. And omg!!! STOP PUTTING MESSAGES ON THE SUMMONS!!! PS: the person who mentioned Rhadahn, there was plenty of warm up to the main fight and all you had to do is touch the symbol with no menu popping up, if i recall correctly. (its been a bit since i fought him) ....okay vent over, back to dying.

why not just not add the scaling....

because then the game would be too easy? (keep in mind it's not a co-op game it just has co-op)

Why do you have to summon to complete a NPC quest at all. I wanna fight bosses myself dammit

Nope, Just no. Would rather have had the health increase at that point. I spent so many deaths trying to summon that moron just for him to stand around when I did summon him. Mind numbing.
