Yes it's was a dumb idea
Ah it’s more so I didn’t even know his summon sign was there, cause I was so focused on the boss fight itself I didn’t notice one small summon sign to the back corner amidst all the other glowing nonsense happening in the arena
If they put it in the arena then they could atleast let the boss chill a couple of seconds before jumping you and doing a 5-6 combo attack.
Yes but Radahn’s fight’s a bit of a different exception, it’s purposely set up that way, where it’s like a big raid boss that’s on the other side of the map, and all the summonable npc’s are clearly laid out on the field for you to bring them in before you all head further towards Radahn, in this case it was a smaller arena and I had no idea it was going to work that way. You can’t really compare those 2 boss fights like that, one was set up to allow you be able to summon allies in the arena without getting gobsmacked within the first 3 seconds, and this other one’s a smaller arena fight where the boss is on you quicker then a bullet
0.000001 seconds combat in -> boss starts spammin AOE stuff across the map
