Misericorde new Ash of war?
I used to use Flame of the Redmanes, then it got nerfed to heck. Then I used Glintstone Phalanx, and that got nerfed to heck.

What can I use now to partner with the Misery dagger to stagger bosses for crits?

I'd also accept a sorcery or incantation, like a beast spell or something...

It's hard to break stance with the dagger alone nowadays. Try heavy thrusting sword + Piercing fang or Impaling Thrust to break stance and then switch to dagger for crit dmg.

NGL put golden vow on it and use it as a buff dagger. Keep it on hand to switch to its critical buff when breaking an enemies poise with a bigger better weapon.

Golden Vow? Interesting. I'm trying to thematically be a Dagger wielding rogue, so I'm using the Misery, the Bandit, the Reduvia, and the Black knife at the moment. Mixing the Parry dagger in as well, and I'm gonna keep an Erdsteel dagger with fire on it for... fire things.

So having something that can CAUSE a stun for the Misery is something I'm really looking for...

Since you will be mostly waiting to use Misericordy, Golden Vow works wonders as you can buff yourself with it for more dmg and defense and just switch to a different weapon while still retaining the buff

Could go with parry on a shield

Mimic tear, enjoy "watch it wack-a-mole your enemies while you sit back eating and drinking something"

The mimic tear is definitely going to be used, I mean, shadow clones are very Ninja/Thief. Think I'll use it when I have Bandit+Reduvia equipped for extra bleed

My dual golden halberd at NG+ with jump attack have a say at this.
I only accept to use mimic on Elden Crap because Elden Beast is just that, a pile of crap that dont deserve me fighting it, after beating it on my first and second run I decided to skip that boss with Mimic +10 making it way faster but other than that . . .

I know and understand that everyone play the game however they want but I think Mimic is a free win against anything.
Even considering Mimic, summoning other players or using other spirit ashes I always advise to at least try some 10 times solo because summoning any spirit ash, NPC or player breaks the AI of the boss that is only effective against 1 target, against 1 player, the bosses imho are worth the time of "at least" 10 tries before trying something else ... less for Elden Beast, that disgusting coward thing that only knows how to fly away dont deserve anyone time, commitment or respect, that thing is just a test of patience and is not even hard, the hardest thing Elden Beast provide is the test of patience with it, what I find crap design therefore Elden Crap, the flaw of Elden Ring.

OP, consider also giving a try to Cold + Fire imbued daggers. Especially with the fire art buff on the primary hand dagger and some faith to boost dmg. The rapid combos can stunlock bosses and mobs due to the freeze procs and the fire clears the frostbite (removes the debuff penalty) but lets you start immediately building up the next one similar to a bleed build. Good in general but especially on bleed resistant bosses/mobs. Has great fire dmg/dagger dmg and also the flame art dmg is high burst, too.

Does not work for that flippin pig-ridin jackhead. I swear, you love tap him just once and he's all over you. :/

Im not sure how well it will work as i have yet to test it out for myself yet, but i was thinking about adding cragblade to misericorde because it increases physical damage as well as poise damage. You might be able to pop their poise with relative ease as well as doing more damage and more crit. Just a theory of mine so far though

I use a hammer alongside misericorde, i switch to dagger after i get a stance break. Riposte and switch back to hammer cycle

Lately I've been doing that with a Scythe, which is unfortunate but it doesn't seem like the Miseri has enough OOMPH to get stance breaks on its own, and none of the ashes of war seem to aid in that any further.

There are a few that I've gotten SOME success out of, like some glint magic, but I've resorted to using Quickstep on my Miseri, because you can actually CURVE around enemies straight behind them with it, and I've gotten really good at getting backstabs during the curve dodge.

Why not parry on the dagger?

If you want to get SUPER technical, parry on a dagger has 1 fewer ACTIVE frames than parry on a small shield.

https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Ash+of+War:+Parry

I've used Parry on an Offhand dagger with Cold element, so I can frostbite someone before I parrystab them.
