DLC bosses suck, anyone miss old souls bosses?
I'm talking about original Dark Souls. Bosses used to be just a big guy with big hammer and straight forward combat. Now these new bosses (talking about DLC) have ganky 1 million health, they are about 10 times your size but zoom around the arena like a ping-pong ball never running out of stamina, while unleashing anime style 50 hit combos followed by 20 aerial combos followed by five AoE attacks (all that one shot you by the way).

Boss battles now are about chasing some 50 ton guy around the arena who moves at the speed of light, getting one or two hits in slowly whittling down a ganky healthbar praying you don't get hit once else you'll be one shot. I'm not even complaining about the bosses being hard, it's just tedious and unfulfilling. I remember when I first played DS1 and finally beast ornstein and smough after many tries I felt fulfilled. Now after beating these ganky cheap anime bosses I just think "thank ♥♥♥♥ that's over".

It's like these fast paced bosses were made for a fast paced action game with a player character that can move around fast and dodge. Not a a clunky dark souls character that has an asthma attack after 5 seconds of running and can barely jump.

I beat the final boss no summons or spirit on ng+7 with uchigatana and unsheath ash of war only. It's insanely difficult but maybe that's okay. You can use whatever playstyle you want if you are determined enough. It's just harder and more rewarding in the end.
i had too much issue with the bosses in that DLC. it's more than scratch the surface. medium roll is trash, you have to press it before the enemy weapon landed on you basically the mordhau style parry reaction something that you cannot perfect. plus the dodge on release. or in my case it was input delay and sometime input eating issue. then added framerate issue into the mix. then the boss itself doing combos flying around non STOP with no opening to hit back! i want to the boss fight to be as fun as gael fair but still difficult. but this one isjust being difficult for no damn reason! i fought all the bosses til the END! consort radahn is the biggest arsehole in the game design wise it was trash at best. because it wasn't design for souls combat it's for anime naruto bullcrap.

You just suck at dodging medium roll is more than good enough for the final boss and the entire DLC, maybe you should just get better and stop complaining about your skill issue.

idunno I don't agree. it works perfectly fine with souls combat. I am a huge puritan with combat style and it is just the hardest boss fight ever made probably when you fight with a pure melee style. It takes a lot of time to learn, and it is extremely punishing, but like miyazaki says: you can't achieve the feeling he wants the player to experience with less difficulty.

It is extremely painful and difficult to learn the fight without cheese or broken builds but that's miyazaki's vision. I've never had a game make me feel the way I felt when I beat the final boss. It's definitely not trash, it's just EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.

Radahn had fight with Malenia not a Tarnished so if there is a Radahn prime bossfight I want a Malenia prime bossfight ... ♥♥♥♥ it I was expectinga Malenia prime at the DLC not that "ok-ish" boss (yes, I called Radahn on the base game "ok-ish" going melee solo no summons... the summons is just a skip of a ok-ish fight, ok-ish at best)
I hate boss fights where I have to chase the boss and despite Radahn going back he also goes away way too often too (and his moves are not even hard either, he is just a nuisance).

Exactly how i felt starting with Malenia and now continuing into dlc bosses.
Sekiro was fully level with you, so even dying 20 times to Isshin while challenging, still retained the "fun".

it's definitely is trash too much AOE, spamming attacks, some lasers for no damn reason othen than to obscure radahn's moveset to avoid player from reading his attack and parry it. if you rly like the part where their endlessly attacking and you just roll roll jump roll roll roll hit them once then go back to roll roll roll jump roll roll.

then sadly we both aren't the same. that ♥♥♥♥ is no fun at all. difficulty my arse miyazaki has fell off when comes to this. that ♥♥♥♥ is literally boring asf. i parried rellana to death and guess what i don't feel any enjoyment the same for the rest of the bosses no enjoyment like i have in older souls games.

it was suppose to be fun the fight are suppose to be back and forth dance your turn my turn. not their turn for the entire damn time is just them taking over the dance floor and giving me just 1 move to dance then they do another long turn before i could do mine is just absurd.

Yeah I'm kind of sick of the spectacle fights with the unresponsive dodging and inputs, long chain combos, over the top flying around and super hitting damage.

I hope From doesn't continue down this path.

Apparently you don't need to master dodge roll in ER you need to master jumping. Found that out yesterday (now). It dodges so many attacks even when the look like they should be hitting you far beyond the obvious ones coming from the ground up.

Why does every character that talks basically wants to kill us? Older Dark Souls games had an excuse that most of the bosses were just already dead. So they're mindless zombies like Artorious. But these characters are supposed to be smart, they don't tell us anything, they don't give us any options, they just go straight to wanting to fight us because of reasons. It's not like they're infected or anything.
they just being racist towards tarnished i think. just like how messmer were.

Sekiro bosses are underwhelming... You are the bosss, bosses are just desperately trying to survive you.
Final boss, if you practiced all enemies through the game, is just a culmination of all as a final test, only bossfights thaat actually save the game are Owl at the top of the castle and Owl father, everything else is good, ok-ish and meh (like, Genichiro is all "showing off" but in the end is just a punching bag and they put the punching bag back at the end, The Monk is good at Fountainhead Palace but the other Monk is just meh, the ape is .. ok-ish to meh tbh and Demon of Hatred is good), overall bosses at Sekiro are not even a challenge if you go blind at the game and you die more because of overdoing something out of overconfidence and that because deflect is extra lenient and the jack of all trades.
I only died once to Isshin because my first try was with deflect and I took him to 3rd stage, second try I just stesamrolled over him in 5min.
