ELDEN RING
Radahn, Consort of Miquella Conqueror club
So hows it going other fellow steam users who have defeated Radahn, Consort of Miquella! This is a safe space for those like us who defeated the hardest game tourist filter ever to exist in the dark souls franchise.

So I have one question how does it feel?

It was exhausting to be honest. The first phase is super fun and engaging, but the second is VERY difficult. Even with heavy armor, Marika’s Golden Braid, and the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman you take so much damage.

I got it done solo with only melee but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was this one draining.
The parries are super fun though :D

So your opinion is its exhausting because you forced yourself to use solo melee only? And the proof, thats a good one. You guys break your own fun in the name of bragging rights nobody cares about anymore, and then whine its exhausting. Many bosses deserve critique in this game, but Radhann was the most fun boss in this entire game when you used a spirit ash. He is a balance perfection for fighting him with spirit at your side, and I loved spending hours on initial solo learning his moves. And i have spent my share of time with this series, soloed Bloodborne and Dark Souls III multiple times, since thats apparently important in these kinds of discussions
I finally found a tactic which allowed me to cheese him. No I will not learn to play the game the correct way!

He's really not that hard, he's just annoying to learn because of the visual clutter.
Some builds have an extremely easy time on him as well. Just killed him without flask, summons and honestly no effort.

Taylew is such a phenomenal summon. very tanky since no boss hits the weak spot
Personally, I believe they went a tad too far with his dificulty... I beat him with with parries, and because of that I noticed that there are some attacks that are nigh impossible to react to on time. I also believe that especially on his 2nd phase he was many times way too aggressive and even if I dodged a whole combo perfectly, even then I didn't have enough time to heal or punish him. I don't have an issue with his amount of HP and damage, but yes with his aggression and speed. I believe they cranked it up a tad too far.

I would also like to point out that it kinda concerns me that From bases the difficulty of their bosses on aspects like speed or damage. Like... I would love to have something like mr. Freeze in Arkham City, that's more about brains and tactics, regardless of your level, and not bosses whose difficulty relies solely on your level and/or equipment.
This was my toughest fight of the dlc for me. I am not not at these games so I play magic. This boss was kicking my butt no matter what. I went to the thorn spell with some buffs and finally beat him. I used both summons. I also found a sweet spot for the first part. if you stay at the door and wait for him to come to u with shield up. You lose no health if you are speced right. then when a summons agros him, you can pull up your mimic. Takes him down quickly after that at the door with tons of health left for all three. Then in phase two, I did no rolling, just walked back with lock on slowly and circled around him. With mimic using thorn and me, he took out the summons but it was too late. I took most of the agro and the mimic pulled him at the end and I finished him. I went through many configs to get him down. I used the new staff and thorn with a few buffs. Just stay close so all three thorns do damage at once.
Just beat him without any summons or changing my build. That was possibly the worst boss they have ever made. I'm confident in saying that something this bad can only be made by people who knew what they're doing.
nothing, fight just feels cheap, gotta be one of the worse designed bosses by From, just stay on his face and block/ roll everything you can until it drops dead

I didn't say anything about spirits or summons, I just played it the way I like to play souls games. I DID have fun with the fight, learning the parry timings was very enjoyable!

I just don't like a lot of the faith attacks in the second phase.

Using a good build isn't "cheese" its what good players do instead of dying to one boss for a week lmao
Define "good" and then let me know how you get "git" it?
It's crazy how nobody is talking about how bs the terrain of the boss arena is. If it was less extreme the fight would actually feel good. The high parts and the low parts are literally the height of your tarnished. It's so inconsistent it's insane. Makes the fight so much more RNG than it should be.
haven't beaten either, so haven't had the need to buy the DLC. Fromsoft screwed up gatekeeping that but to each their own.

Most major arenas are weird in some way in this game.
