So hows it going other fellow steam users who have defeated Radahn, Consort of Miquella! This is a safe space for those like us who defeated the hardest game tourist filter ever to exist in the dark souls franchise.

So I have one question how does it feel?

I had to change my build, which felt kind of like betraying my character. I had to use a shield + piercing sword with rot + blood build up. The whole thing took me a long time. But afterwards it did feel good so Elden Ring achieved.

The fight can be easily cheesed IF you collected those stupid fragments. If not, you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. So grab a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walkthrough, backtrack and collect your fragments, take out your greatshields and have an easy win. You don't want to do this because it's ZERO fun? Well bad luck, you will not make it then.

since you could have been carried trough the fight or used other methods simply the statement of "i defeated X" has lost any and all meaning.

wish i got to him before the fragment buff. i couldn't believe he was the final boss. took two tries. everyone was complaining so much I was expecting a giant monster or something like the Elden Beast. A bit disappointing but maybe NG+ will be harder. I just hope they don't nerf the bosses before then.

Your post makes it sound like you're bad at the game and are just mad moonveil spam didn't work.

To be honest, they are right about one not having enough time to learn crap in 1 or 2 tries. You were either RL713 + maxed summons + buff stacked out your butt + RNG blessed you + you cheesed in one way or another, or you are not almost 1st trying it blind.

Not because it's an impossible fight, but because around half the combos one shot at meta level, and there is just way to many moves to learn, the fight is comically over the top, specially in phase 2.

As low as at least 5 tries sounds reasonable if you are a god gamer and went blind.

Anything else, would make you ''I made let me solo her my ♥♥♥♥♥'' tier gamer, or you just googled cheese and rolled with it.

Logic would dictate to doubt your statement, or at least a fraction of it.

None of that is true Im just good and you're just bad.

I beat it with a mimic as the mimic struck the last blow I sat back and sipped on my Dr Pepper.

i beat it solo on ng+ using only medium rolls to dodge and and an anti-divine buff (i didnt find the talisman), took me about 7 hours of trying split on a 3 days, had to learn his every move, and i think its a ♥♥♥♥ boss in terms of how fun it is to fight
i really liked rellana, messmer, that frenzied guy in a mansion and the giant sunflower, those fights i would redo
on rellana i was pretty under-blessed and was fighting her for 4 hours, had to learn every move and i really liked that boss
the final boss is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fest that also flashbangs you every time you get hit
i heard he is a bit more fun with parry, didnt try

did I say I lost a lot? it only took me 20 tries to beat the final boss. Much quicker than I can say for a lot of people. Dont attribute things to me that I never said. at least I didnt ♥♥♥♥♥ out and use a greatshield like you. pretty rich that a guy who says hes good uses one of the lamest strategies

Meh, beat him with my fourth character now, first on on regular NG, with the others being on NG+.
It's definetly not a "tourist filter". Like, it's so disengaging and annoying and boring that I beat him always while listenig to whatever podcast and no sound in the game. Hated the story/lore reasoning behind him, and it's a bad fight through and through. Didn't thought they could go on being worst than bed of chaos or elden beast, but here we are.
Fortunately, there are enough room for it to be easily breezed through so one can just get it done with it.

If I didn't had that scratch inside my head that would bother me to no end if I don't complete the whole thing, I would just ignore him in subsequent playthroughs. A shame really, the dlc can have some amazing highs. But this and Gaius are far from it. Can even give a reverse rogue-one feel, you know, a mid movie, but with an amazing ending that can trick people into thinking the whole movie is a masterpiece, well, I would not fault anyone into thinking they didn't liked the dlc based on this awful boss alone.
Bayle, Midra, Messmer, and then, this ♥♥♥♥.
I don't even know what can be done to make this fight funnier (despite, you know, they can at least fix some performance issues on it, specially on that second phase).
