Radahn, Consort of Miquella Conqueror club
So hows it going other fellow steam users who have defeated Radahn, Consort of Miquella! This is a safe space for those like us who defeated the hardest game tourist filter ever to exist in the dark souls franchise.

So I have one question how does it feel?

I was actually sorta proud of the way i killed him, used a carian retaliation miseriecord combo, i feel as though it actually took skill because one parry whiff wouldve killed me, i also just learnt how to dodge most of his moves and i feel like i had actually learned the boss by the end, thoroughly enjoyed my time fighting him, although i see where people are angry with it, not alot of opportunities at first glance.

Bad. Didn't feel satisfying to win, just felt like slamming my head against a wall long enough for RNG to finally be on my side. Honestly don't even know if nerfs would help, just feels like too many of his over the top anime moves aren't fun to interact with.

Did it solo, no cheese. Feels pretty good but I do standby the fact that he really isn't THAT hard. Corrupted Chalice Dungeons from Bloodborne were harder IMO. I don't know if Isshin is harder - but that is maybe the best fight in a FS game. Radahn is kinda dumb.

Normally I don't call for co-op because of the increased HP pool. I always try to rely on spirit summons at most. Not with this boss. Never since Malenia have I actively called for co-op.

Even then it took me 10 tries. This is because of how quickly I had to grab those summon signs and sometimes the team make up was really bad.

That fight is the ultimate culmination of the DLC's design philosophy.

Which is Miyazaki wants you to branch out from the rolly polly. If you try to rolly polly him all the way through you will suffer. Once you branch out to other mechanics he's so much easier to beat.

Hard disagree. The only time is hard to dodge is phase 2 and thats mostly cause you will take some "tick" damage from the holy beams on a lot of the attacks he already did in phase 1. Putting some holy resistance on let me use the same strategy on him as any other boss - dodge and attack.

Bro, your blood has to be made of diesel fuel to beat him in two tries. And btw, what build were you using?

Or you could deflect at the right time to make him eat a guard counter as well as L1 instead of rolling around till you can hit him.

It's not just the hitboxes, dodges have terrible damage uptime on him as well.

On so many of his second phase attacks I roll just one or two and deflect, jump or ash (blinside etc.) the others. You can also parry him to death.

Full greatshield, mohg spear, and mimic tear. And the only reason it took me 2 is because his weird dive bomb attack one shotted me. Died with like 7 flask sips left.

Needs ai and frame data tweaks, and some heavy vfx optimization, but other than that, a fantastic fight, worthy of being the final challenge of so far FS's best work.

Lorewise? an absolute piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Reeks of Martin's worst tropes. Not saying his works sucks per se, but it was heavily condensed in this finale, and it was pretty transparently obvious his style of writing. Degrading and metaphorically and literally profaning 4 of the most interesting and hated/beloved characters in the main story for the sake of a twisted incestuous reverse-pedo rape fanfic, was the most enraging lore experience in my entire FromSoft lore experience ever, which is, all of fromsoft lore, and will probably never be topped.

Felt poorly designed

It genuinely just felt relieving, not even very satisfying...
I parried my way to victory but I am just not a fan of the boss.
Had way more fun with Midra, Rellana and Bayle

Once I got used to the speed and AOE of the fight, it got easier. Not easy, mind you, but easier.

The Remembrance options... are really disappointing though.

There's no comparison to be made because sekiro is an action game where everyone roughly has the same build. Your previous post sounds like you read some guide about perfume cheese or something. You don't have time to learn any of his attacks in two tries. In short, you've never even played this game, let alone beat the final boss. Also isshin is 1000x easier compared to your average ER build against radahn.
Your post makes it sound like you're bad at the game and are just mad moonveil spam didn't work.

To be honest, they are right about one not having enough time to learn crap in 1 or 2 tries. You were either RL713 + maxed summons + buff stacked out your butt + RNG blessed you + you cheesed in one way or another, or you are not almost 1st trying it blind.

Not because it's an impossible fight, but because around half the combos one shot at meta level, and there is just way to many moves to learn, the fight is comically over the top, specially in phase 2.

As low as at least 5 tries sounds reasonable if you are a god gamer and went blind.

Anything else, would make you ''I made let me solo her my ♥♥♥♥♥'' tier gamer, or you just googled cheese and rolled with it.

Logic would dictate to doubt your statement, or at least a fraction of it.

I think Radahn is going to be like Miss Rot Lady from the base game where people complain the first few weeks/months then realize they aren't that hard, even without cheese.
