have you noticed that most of the negative reviews are from china? if you set the language to chinese in the filter settings you will notice that only 37% of the reviews are positive. for most other nations the average is around 80%.

I fear this is not true.

Fact is, most non-english communities (asians like chinese, koreans and japanese, also russians) are giving mixed review about this dlc.

Yes, japanese and korean languages are but a small proportion in the reviews, but together these results show a concordance in negative feedback from non-english communities

So actually it's more like the english community is lifting up the score.

It is also understandable, because the art style of Elden Ring is more close to western culture. So it is natural that westerners give higher scores, and asians would be less tolerant about performance issues and design failures.

BTW does anyone really think the last boss is successful design?
The dlc is ok but it does have problem, the media gave people too much anticipation. And when it turns out wrong, some people choose to forgive, some don't. That's all.

But I also made mistakes about the claims about non-english speakers. My source of information seems to be biased and I regret about it.

So it seems like the people from east asia (china, japan, korea) don't like this dlc much. And china just happen to have a lot of players to change the balance.

This was entirely your choice to fight Rellana as first boss and entirely your choice to level up. Just as in the main game people had choice to fight Margit or explore southern weeping coast.

People with more skill could kill Margit right away, while the ones with less could overlevel skill issue.

because they only have one media and its directly controlled by their government
