Im not asking for a complete game change where after killing 4-5 bosses, everyone cowers in awe and fear, I just want a single line of Dialog or something in reference to your deeds. Maybe have some of the starter enemys try run from you after you kill their lord? Its so frustrating having everyone be such an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to you.
Like, what was Gideon Ofnir planning to do? I just kicked the ♥♥♥♥ out of all the Demigods, claimed their runes, all the Dragons, every creature of note + several full armys and literally "Sum Guy" figures he could take us out? His gank attempt should of happened way earlier in the story before we become a literal god.
I really would of enjoyed some motivation other than "Everyone treats you like crap and wants to kill you". Why would I want to save this world? I think thats what makes Ranni so appealing. Shes nice, gives you a sense of purpose and motivation for doing the main quest and becoming a lord. It would of been nice if they did the same thing with Miquella.
Heres my attempt at story writing: As Melenia fought and failed to kill the tyrant radahn from conquering the world, Mogh steals Miquella from the Haligtree. Miquella tries to charm Mogh before he can be pumped full of accursed blood and fails. Destroying his body and sending his soul to the shadow lands.
After you kill Moghlestor, you travel to the shadow lands to save sweetly Miquella where you find out he was imprisoned by Messmer the Impaler, the eternal warden of the accursed shadow lands.
As you progress, you realise somethings not right. After every major enemy felled, the sky starts taking on a more and more distorted look. After defeating Messmer, Miquella uses the combined soul power of everyone you've killed to try bring back his brother Godwyn but fails horribly and accidentally creates a gigantic fish monster out of Godwyns corpse.
After defeating Godwyn(fish monster man) you get the option to kill or consort Miquella, giving you a new ending in the base game.
Like, I know my storys ♥♥♥♥ but itd make more sense than Radahn coming back in Moghs body because Miquella secretly wanted to ♥♥♥♥ him all these years... Idk, unless theres a ton of lore I missed or alternate endings, DLC felt like the Mass Effect endings where you get 3 coloured lights to step into except instead of 3, there is only 1.
They also forgot that Miquella was having a blood transfusion, yet we see no affects from the Fromless Mother, the Outer God Mogh was doing all this for and it is her spells he's using during his boss fight.
Does that mean even the writers forgot about that plot point or just chose to ignore it?
Speaking of femboi's, I think thats why im so butthurt about the story. Even after all these years, Im still broken up about not being able to save Gwyndolin in DS3. We were ,like, 5 min too late to stop him being eaten by Aldrich. I wanted this to be a redemption story where we were 5 min early, just in time to save an innocent xD
Damn you for taking that away from me twice, Miyazaki! DAMN YoUuuUuuuUuuuu! HAhaha
Why I think Messmer being a Lord Contender of Frenzied Flame that utterly destroys Miquella would be perfect: doesn't matter how strong your power of controlling others is if the person you're trying to do it on is insane and ready to kill everything on the spot.
I like your Messmer being frenzied idea. It would of fleshed out the story and gave you motivation to stop him because if you didnt, hed burn you and everything else to the ground.
Edit: Like, what was our motivation to kill Messmer in the first place? He wasnt even in our way, he was just moping in his tower. All sad and menacing. Didnt even have a great rune because he wasnt part of the shattering.
i like how you can spoil Radan as a boss if you will finish some quests :D
