Performance is terrible (SOLVED)
running a ryzen 5 3600 with a rtx 4060 and my game can barely maintain 40 fps but i have seen videos of the game running at a smooth 60 fps with my specs.
any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Use the frame gen software. It will help heaps.

is this even safe for the user to use? they're going to get banned no?

First i'd make sure ray tracing is off. Go download DDU and uninstall/reinstall drivers, make sure resizable bar is enabled. You can youtube this. Make sure ray tracing is turned off completely, even ray tracing on low will make your gpu struggle in areas of this game. It's not recommended unless you have a mid range gpu like a 4070 or 7800XT. Good luck.

I'm using it without EAC because I have E-Core problems that need another fix, so not sure.

Just tested Fram Gen Software with EAC enabled, it doesnt work.

SO you will have to disable EAC

ray tracing is off i could understand if it was at 40 fps with ray tracing on but everythings low and still stuttery/bad performance. i will try and uninstall my drivers and reinstall.

Correction, must have done something wrong. Lossless Scaling is working with EAC on or off.

I have similar specs, and nothing at all worked for me... until I unplugged my printer. For some reason this took me from unplayable mess to constant 60fps, even in DLC area, fighting Lion etc.

Open device manager while you have the game open, if it is constantly refreshing, a USB device is the issue.

soo it seems i have fixed it. and its all to do with nvidias performance overlay. if u turn it on in the game it becomes stuttery lowers the fps and this effect still applies when i press alt + r to turn it off. but if i load the game without the overlay its completely smooth on max settings. note to self never trust nvidia. thanks for all ur time and suggestions

Playing without EAC increased my FPS by 10, no joke.

There are still issues, but it's a godsend.
