Greatshield and Greatspear combo is hands down the easiest way to play this game

Dude it's not even close. I beat the final boss of the DLC in 2 tries. I beat the big dragon goober on the mountain in something like 4 tries. NO base game boss posses any kind of a challenge.

For extra cheese use the mohg spear and go 80 arcane and throw a mimic tear in the mix. It's insane.

Who cares if you beat it naked with no weapons and 1 hp. I beat it first while watching cartoons. ♥♥♥♥ getting good. Get smart.

I had a blast. I do runs of the game with other builds for fun, but when I want to just win I play greatshield.

None of these games have ever been as hard as people made them out to be. Half the people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a brick over this DLC would have thrown an NES out the window.

Personally i love the greatspear greatshield combo, i'm going full crucible knight with siluria tree and the crucible horn shield, though my build is more of a paladin, You can add on the spear talisman or even the curved sword talisman if you love doing guard counters.
