Unable to summon cooperator

All day i have been having this issue. Ill use the finger remedy, 4 or 5 summon signs appear, and immediately after trying to summon i get the message unable to summon cooperator. I have had 2 cooperators actually summoned out of probably 50 or more attempts.

I should mention im playing through the dlc right now. just wondering, am i the only one having issues with this, or is there just problems right now with coop with the dlc?

Nope, same issue here and apparently a known problem in Elden Ring.

I've been trying to get help for the final boss for the past two days, wasted a lot of fingers with zero success. It might get better with less active players.

Right now Elden Ring's sitting at 500-700k active players.
