Lore of DLC Final Boss Arena?
The DLC final boss walk into arena from this door.
It look like a heavenly gate or door.
Yet seems like made from countless human corpses.

What is the purpose of this area for DLC final boss?
The area he made ascension?

Like Ranni he's trying to stop the outer gods by sacrificing things. The crosses he laid on the lands tell what he's given up. Difference is the sacrifices he's making other people do as well as himself which is different than Ranni. The corpses are likely symbolic to that. Him taking Mohg's corpse after we killed him to bring back Radahn and mind control him shows just how selfish he truly is.

What I got from all the lore dumps and scenery anyways.

Sad, I hope there are different path to play out for DLC ending.
Though from software DLC never has different path.
So I guess the DLC is final cruel dark twisted reveal to what we seem from base game

What means crosses ?
I killed Radahn in main game, why he resurrected ?
Is it his good form before red rot ? why is that
Why Mikella wanna get throne ?
Why Radahn is consort ?
What in this situation means shadow of erdtree?

1) Radahn has to die in base game, so Miquella can harvest his soul and plant it into a new body
2) this body is most likely his prime form but this time without his horse. The body is made from Mogh corpse by Miquella magic
3) Miquella qualified to be a god as Empyrean status. Nothing wrong he want to be a god, he want to shape the world according to his plan
4) Radahn and Miquella childhood time promised each other.
5) Turn out Mogh is not really as evil as it depicted in base game. Mogh is the final guardian before player open room to 3 fingers. He brain washed by Miquella magic became a puppet pawn.

I suspect the flesh Miquella crafted for Radahn, is mostly just a meat puppet without the real Radahn soul. Or worse....... this means a zombie that look like Radahn, albeit healthy and strong.

I can answer some of those. After you killed Radahn and Mohgwyn in the base game, Miquella stole Mohg's corpse and stuffed Radahn's soul into it to revive him at his prime. (which from a meta standpoint, makes a lot of sense: I've been saying for years that killing Radahn when he's already weakened from the Scarlet Rot really undercuts the satisfaction from the fight)

Miquella wants to get the throne to rebuild existence itself from the ground up. So basically, the same thing as every single other main faction, including yourself. Radahn promised to be Miq's consort long ago, before the fight with Malenia and so on.

As for your last question, that's pretty open-ended. The obvious one is the presence of the Scadutree, which is a shadowy version of the Erdtree.

Agreed. Also: He bewitched his followers. The moment you reach Shadow Keep, his charm breaks and basically all of his followers are bewildered and some suddenly start asking questions. Miquella "the kind" is more like "Miquella the cult leader".

FromSoft lore has always been too obtuse for me to follow. I would think "Neat, skull door." then smash with hammer.

The bit that confused me, is that the charm/rune also breaks if you travel too far past the Bonny Village, which feels really random. I pretty much figured out what was going on by the end though.

What do the "shadow tree" do to story ?
So is just another tree with different graphic Miquella use as a base to ascend godhood ?
Noticed the "God Slain" instead of the usual "Demi-God Slain"

To be perfectly honest: I thought the story was rather straight-forward in this DLC but even after hearing some very plausible final boss explanation, I still can't but feel very dissapointed.
Miquella goes into that evil world his brother basically razed for his mother to revive the consort he first denied in the body of the kidnapper that wanted to be his consort all the while a bewitched cult he enchanted follows him ... sorry but this somehow doesn't feel good. I also feel like Radahn "coming back" is one big stupid fanservive-move.

That's the Scadutree, which... uh... I need to go read some more item descriptions...
Samseng Yik Jun 24, 2024 @ 12:49am
In base game, the shiny tree is the throne seat power of the greater will faction.
I suppose the Scadutree serve similar purpose, except it is for "non greater will"

I've been saying for a very long time that the Starscourge Radahn fight is really underwhelming because it's undercut by Radahn being so far past his prime. Lore-wise, you're not fighting a demi-god at the height of his power, you're putting down a doddering wreck who's almost dead from magic sepsis anyway, but still whoops your butt with giant arrows. Now we have the warlord in his actual prime to fight, and hoo boy does he deliver. Now we have the satisfaction of overcoming him at his very best.

Yes, we fight the Radahn that battled Milenia in that one cinematic trailer BUT it still doesn't satisfy me. I don't want to fight Radahn (again).
As I said: It doesn't set well with me. If you enjoy it, more power to you.
Samseng Yik Jun 24, 2024 @ 12:55am
I agree see-ing Radahn full power is really something have to be done before the end of ER.
In base game lore wise, Radahn is the most badass, done so much great stuff, one man army, anti UFO alien and etc.

Too bad those are just "back stories".
Noticed feral Radahn fight in whole soul like series, just uniquely design for player to infinitely resummon allies just to "make it tolerable"
Thus players miss out the great feeling of 1 v 1 dueling legendary warrior.
The DLC finale is done pretty good to give us this fight.......
Albeit is a uberly dark disgusting twisted lore reason and motive.

Still I have some doubt about the DLC Radahn as "real" or not.
He never seems like speak anything at all, feel more like a zombie/puppet who only obey Miquella will "brainwash magic"
