FPS Drops/Stuttering
Is it normal at the moment that the FPS are just horrible?

as a example im currently fighting Romina Saint of the Bud, and i cant get constant 60 FPS im dropping to like 30-50FPS most of the time

I tried switching around the settings but nothing helps, Raytracing is turned off.

does anyone experience these problems aswell?

It's not normal, but since we are talking about a From Software game i think we can consider it ``normal``

I got framedrops to mid 20's on Romina's boss fight.

My setup:

Ryzen 7 5800X3D
RTX 4070
32GB RAM.

Unfortunately very common for fromsoft titles, they do typically patch it pretty quick though

This boss fight is the only one that I get frame drops. It is really when she throws those things in the air and they go boom. I think this boss fight just has those issues, but hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Just an fyi, Ive been playing on PS5 and I get frame drops on this boss too. I get summoned for this boss fight, and those drops have been the the biggest reason i dodge into hits.

You could try reducing Effects Quality to 'Low'. The game goes overboard on particle effects and is incredibly CPU-bound when doing so.

Experienced it today.
I have Ryzen 5700X, RTX 4070, game is installed on SSD NVME.

I fixed it on my end completely, turned out to be a ram speed issue. if you are able to turn on xmp (if you haven't) then you should try that

I only had fps issues near the 2 sword lady in the dlc and I believe it was due to the water fall.
