Dryleaf arts fist weapon. something about kicking enemies feels very satisfying. Other than that i have to use Giant crusher or deaths poker for boss fights or when i get killed too much.
attribute scaling for dlc weapons is weird, some of them require both faith and intelligence and most of them need faith or dex. dlc lacks proper strength weapons or maybe i haven't found them yet.

Rellana swords are pretty cool. Perfume bottles to play like a mr. White lmao (surprisingly good dmg after all).

Repeating crossbow on a mimic is lmao. Equip rot and bleed arrows and occupy boss while mimic deletes it hp.

Also not a weapon but double turtle talisman is a nice thing.

I like the backhand blades. They're not an op weapon to 1 shot bosses with, but you can use the art of war they come with to dodge attacks, which means you can get hits in between some slower boss combos, and their swings are pretty wide which isn't important for boss fights but its just a nice to have for when there's like 5 basic mobs all standing on top of each other. I'm just using quality, but they'd apply status really fast if you chose to use them for that.

The light greatswords also seem like they'd be fun and winged stance heavy does a lot of stagger, but I haven't tried actually building one. Their moveset looks fun though, and if you're just looking for power I think you could get something similar to an unsheathe build with katanas, which to me feels very easy and consistently good.

Also I've seen some streamers play. The op weapon seems to be the bleed hammer that bleeds in like 2 swings (think its a colossal but might be a great hammer). Its also a regular weapon, so you could put cragsblade on it if you just really want it to be op.

Bruh i got around 20 invasions so far and 15 Had Backhandblades

EZ pez boon weapon
I don't play pvp so I don't want to speak on that with much confidence. But they seem like they'd be a really good pvp weapon, since you should be able to just dodge a lot of slower moves with the weapon art. Especially if you can get used to attacking with the camera not bound (since the weapon art just misses sometimes with lock on since it won't do more than like 90 degree turns if say someone jumps past you, and you can't dodge backwards with it while locked on).

That makes sense. They attack seemingly around the same speed as straight swords or curved swords, but I think their damage is higher. Though, I haven't really checked.

i normally powerstance lordsworn straight swords with bleed, Backhand blade is about the same dmg per hit but attacks faster so it stacks bleed faster. Plus the ash is great for applying bleed as well.

Renalla's Twins Swords are ridiculous and very versatile for builds.
Mystic Man Jun 23, 2024 @ 4:46pm
flame knight's GS. innate fire+flame art infusion, dealing so much damage. plus it has the poke zweihander moveset
IBOT Jun 23, 2024 @ 4:48pm
the big ass dragon katana. it has range, it staggers and it can shoot. Everything I wish for.
i got a staff that let me cast both sorc and incant yesterday and i'm F--king hyped.

Rellana's Twin Blades actually seem to be extremely fun (imo) from what I've tested with them! Might make a build around them in the future
