Renalla's Cameo talisman, how does it work?

I have the buff in the buff bar no matter what I do, so does anyone understand how this thing even works? Attacking doesn't seem to make it go away to reappear later for whatever a 'stance' is that it's asking for.

I know it works with her twin swords. When you take a stance to use either the magic or fire spell on her swords. You hold it till you get a red buff buff around your character. like 2 seconds of standing there.

It works with stances. You need to be in a stance like sheathing, etc..

my guess is you have to hold a stance, like square off, the longer you hold it the more dmg

doesnt work with shield guarding afaik, im sure some katanas have some other stance skill kinda thing but dex is for scum

It only works with a few weapons, I use it on the Moonveil for example. Holding LT for a second gives me a buff on that attack
