You could kill a lot of bosses very easily and later on if you just upgraded some of the more powerful weapons to max it would take maybe 10 ish hits to kill a boss.
Along with 20 healing potions and armor that actually makes a difference.
You have forgotten how easy Dark Souls 1 is.
1. Asylum Demon 813hp
2. Gargolyes 999hp you face 2-3 of them.
3. Capra Demon 1,176hp
4. Centipede Demon 3,432hp
5. Gaping Dragon 4,660hp
Well there are more but not a single boss reach over 10,000 health on first playthrough.

Four kings is the closest one with nearly 10k health for those 5 spawns. But on average those number I posted are the norm for first playthrough.
So anyone thinking Elden Ring somehow has same HP values as Dark Soul 1 clearly need to replay it to actually see how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EASY the first game was. Elden ring has almost always over 10k health on majority of the bosses.
Maybe if damage is so bad the boss goes like "let me heal that scratch to show you how useless you are"?
He... didn't do that for me. Sounds like something was bugged.
I can guarantee you it surely is not 20 seconds unless i shreded him way to fast to even see that.
It wasn't a meme. I was there when it got to PC. Never heard anything about poking a bosses 1000 times.
You killed bosses so quickly in Dark Souls 1 by just using any decent weapon that you leveled up a bit that no one would get to that point.
You could kill gargoyle in the start with basically 4 hits if you buffed your weapon.
None of the dragons I've killed in the DLC and there have been quite a lot of them have healed themselves even once. On NG+ too.
1) A DoT from the blackflame typical effect.
2) An HP debuff (a different bar iirc?) that vanishes after the debuff expires making it look like they healed but they did not, in fact, heal.
The perk of the debuff is if you kill them while it is active ta-dah fight slightly easier, else it vanishes and its back to normal except the part removed from the DoT effect. Since Tiche can keep spamming it odds are you will benefit from it.
Oh yeah, holy definitely annihilates those guys within seconds.
