if you depended on the fact that it causes knockdown on its ash of war then you may need to change your build since that got changed, other than that its still heals and is still good.

Yes, but the knock back is gone now, so on the character that mains it, i just mostly use it for healing.

NG4/Lvl150 - Made it through most of the expansion with BB (bar final boss and two others I'm saving for friends). I really wanted to try some new builds, but aside from some more fun Incantations, nothing really caught my fancy. BB is so hard to put down.

I'll bet the weapon skill is too slow for DLC bosses. I've tried a super slow halberd Phantom Slash build and it's garbage despite the high damage. There's barely enough window for you to use 1 skill unless you're fine relying on summons

It's still good but it feels too slow for the final boss unless you have max poise and resistances so you can just tank ♥♥♥♥.

Nerfed. Anything that can be used to kill bosses is too strong, you are only supposed to die on repeat in this game. Noob.

it's been carrying me through the dlc so far, powerstanced with the gargoyle's blackblade

all the big boy str/fth hammers in the dlc don't seem to outperform them so far
