Crashes on loading screen and Easy Anti-Cheat
I've got a PC with a GTX 4070 Ti GPU, an i9-14900KF and 32 GB of RAM. The game frequently crashes on loading screen (specifically when traveling to any Site of Grace, including respawning by one) and then typically refuses to load past the Easy Anti-Cheat window when relaunching. It pops up then just closes without even actually opening the game.

I noticed it never seems to crash during gameplay itself - sessions are stable and I see no issues. But literally any loading screen might cause the app to crash (admittedly it does add an unexpected layer of peril to facing off against a boss).

Here's all the things I've done so far:
- I've updated all my drivers;
- Verified game files;
- Lowered all settings to Medium except Textures (ridiculous, but I'd rather have stability than praise the gorgeous view at this point);
- Set the entire game folder as an exception in Windows;
- Turned off Discord, Browsers and pretty much anything that could be running in the background together with the game;

If anybody found any solutions (or can at least confirm they've had similar issues so I don't feel like I'm losing my mind and should embrace the frenzied flame), I'd appreciate it!

I have had similar issues. For me I play and within 5 minutes of playing my whole system reboots. I have done everything similar to you and my game still struggles. I have not been able to start the dlc because of this. This is not only affecting you, but is affecting a lot of other people. I unfortunately do not have any solutions to offer but I thought I might as well I am having similar issues.

You can disable anticheat to check if it really casues problems, add this line in game properties: cmd /c start eldenring.exe & rem %command% off course with it disabled you can't play online mode.

Won't this result in a warning for inappropriate activity? I'd really hate to get my account banned now =<

Just set it offline (in game main menu) before using this command line, I had to use this to get DLSS mod work and I did not got any warnings so far (3 days and 20+ hours), off course I did not tried to set it online again. If I do I will enable anticheat before.

more complete would be this way

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete the whole folder with this name on the left side, search again because there are more of this folder.

then go into elden ring's game files in the game installation folder

delete the easyanticheat folder, verify gamefiles to restore the folder fresh

reboot windows

then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easyanticheat folder and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

a prompt will pop up and hit enter

some games mess around in the global settings at the registry and windows often does not update them after EAC got updated

It's very frustrating what's happening with Elden Ring. I've played almost 300 hours, and since the DLC came out, I haven't been able to play. It crashes after 5 minutes, there are texture issues and performance problems. I have a high-end PC and can't play it, even when setting everything to low quality. I've tried everything, contacted Bandai support, and their response is 'We'll fix it in the next patch,' but it's been two patches and still nothing.
