It's a DLC, did you expect an entirely new game with 150+ weapons in each category over a 20 hour play? Like ♥♥♥♥ sakes you entitled babies are bad.
Really, they should have gone back through and sprinkled weapons from the new types into the Lands Between so there were 5-6 different weapons of each new type. Especially since some of the new weapons can't be obtained until literally right before the end of the DLC when you have nothing to use them on anymore.
For that price point, again, for a SINGLE DLC, I do expect A LOT of content.
So far I am pleased with it, some dungeons are uneccessarily annoying but other than this I am pleased.
But the new weapons are really lacking, expected a bit more in that regard.
Again, that is A LOT of money for a single DLC so I get his frustration
I'm having a blast with hand-to-hand, wdym?
So far, not a single new weapon beats the good ol' combos from the base game.
And even if some have pretty cool animations, it doesn't mean jack sh...t if you can't beat any bosses with it.
And yeah, you could say "git gud", but why should I learn a new weapon that is subpar when I can just use my trusted setup and be more successfull with it?
Fun yes, useful not so much
i cleared the DLC with it, wdym?
It's got a cross guard, a pommel and is a straight blade.
Nothing about it is a Katana and God knows there are plenty of Katanas anyway.
But yeah, it's kind of lame how few of some things there are.
Effectively one Backhand Blade (the other two are their own thing imo).
One hand-to-hand though I guess that's all you really need.
The main thing I dislike is that some are cool weapons that I'll probably never use because of where they are. If you've killed Mogh odds are your build is pretty well established. Dropping things for people is an answer, but it's annoying.
Also maybe I want to powerstance Light Greatswords, but... you sort of only get the one.
Discovering them organically is neat and all, but I almost wish the more basic stuff was just for sale at Roundtable.
