DLC IS NOT too hard
Soulslikes since lways forced players to learn humility and patience. With every death, he should learn something new about the boss, get better slowly.

UNFORTUNATELY soulslikes got popular in recent years. Unfortunately, as it did bring a lot of people who don't understand soulslikes.
Listen here... DLC isn't too hard. It was the BASE ELDEN RING that got nerfed like HELL.

True soulslike game was Sekiro, that is making people like you cry to this day.
In Elden Ring, it's first so much casualised soulslike from FromSoftware.
You have summons, mimic tears and spells that kill bosses in seconds if used correctly.

And still we have players that whine and cry about difficulty... Really?
All you do is spoiling the game for people who enjoy it. Fans of the HARD GAMES, that soulslike were FROM THE START.

It is your whining, that made Elden Ring too easy from the start. And now you blame the company that it tried to get back to it's roots?

You all should play Sekiro and Bloodborne. These games would teach you how to play.

If you are a Fifa player, who came to Elden Ring because it's popular, used all mimic tears, summons and spells in base game and now you suffer because you didn't spend actually a minute to learn the game... Then your suffering is music to my ears.

You are to be blamed for your own failures. If you did commit to the game and tried to learn it, the hard way, now the DLC would be just perfect to play.

I was never the best soulslikes player in the world. And yet I killed Rellana and Messmer under 30 attempts.
Guess what? Only sword, no magic, no mimic, no summons. Just crimson tears and a great sword. Not even special attacks, just left mouse click.

It is very much doable.
But if you prefer to whine, because you don't have the time to learn the game, you didn't want to learn the game, you refuse to play this game like all FromSoftware games SHOULD BE PLAYED, then maybe go back to Fifa.

No one says it's hard. It's repetitive. I literally rushed through the end because I did not enjoy the same flaws the base game had. The DLC only worsened it.

The pro’s of soulslike games to me are:
- hard as fck
- fun personal challenge(s)

The cons lately are:
- streamers are playing it
- mediocre mainstream gamers are brought in and they complain about ANYTHING as long as it’s not a ‘hello kitty adventure’ game with 24-7 handholding

Plenty of people say it's hard. More people say it's a masterpiece than people who say it's not. People who rate ER or its DLC badly are simply a loud minority, and that is a fact.

Only thing I've disliked so far is a huge copypasta damage sponge dragon boss with poor rewards. Optional but still, irksome.

Everything unique to the DLC has been a pretty fun time. I don't know what people are talking about. Gather blessings, explore, try new equipment, use some of the new buff craftables. It's all there. I feel like people come in thinking this is a pure action game where they should be able to brute force everything without any prep' or RPG thinking.

Yeah, most people are ignorant of the fact that in life, it's not easy to praise everyone. Most mainstream songs are so popular because most people have no clue about music theory. They can't handle most rock songs, saying "oh, but this is too much for me,", or just classical music in general. The public votes for which president to be held responsible for a whole country. It's the public's fault. Not the democratic's.

It’s ok for me, it just bothers me that they are tuning down bosses because the mainstream noobs who are brought in by streamers complain and are loud on social media. Meanwhile, I’m bbq-ing with my family and friends and am happy when I have 1-2 hours to play ER instead of QQ at the devs for an easier game.

The difficulties on point imo

The shards make it even easier...I used 2 and kinda regret it as I have only died to a mob once and bosses a handful of times since. I know it'll get harder and I'll probably have to burn a few more shards to get through

But we might see it get casualisied with next patches, beacuse of some big babies.

There are thousands of easy games over there. Elden should not become one because of weekend fans.

So far I've found bosses easy to dodge but their combos way too long and their openings too brief.

Resulting in me dodging around for ages only to get one to two hits in. It's tedious and ecnourages dumb unga bunga jump attack builds that are already a way too effective way to play the game.

Against Rellana I just sacrificed a few attempts to learn her parry timings because she was taking absolutely forever to whittle down with a magic infused weapon.

I hope they just patch the shards lol...not the first few but maybe the last ones

2 gave me a way bigger buff than I thought..it's absurd people are having problems

The design is actually a bit lazy, yea.
They made kinda Wolfenstein type of bosses, who are just absurd level of health and that's it.
But still... I prefer this, to mediocore base Elden Ring, where 99% of bosses died in first try.

Btw the most fun boss so far has been the monkey sword master. He can be staggered so has opening but he will break out of stagger locks and retaliate very fast.

Overall he has a varied moveset that you can respond to on the fly. You can fit in ranged attacks, blocks, parries and stagger.

It was really fun fighting him. Also, you can bet your ass I've maxed the summon and am absolutely gonna use it when I feel like it because seeing mobs blended by angry katana monkey is just too funny.
