Need help accessing the DLC

So with the DLC, almost all Site's of Grace have been removed from the map. This means you cannot fast travel to Mohgwyn's Palace or to the Consecrated Snowfield. So I try to access the Consecrated Snowfield for that one teleportation gate, but the Secret Medallion is also removed from your inventory, so you can't take the Lift of Rold down only up. I've already 100% the account, so I can't redo Varric's quest to access the Palace.

Did they add in a method of accessing the DLC that isn't mentioned in online tutorials?
