Count Ymir Questline

Has anyone else had bugs with his questline? When I went into the basement I killed the invader and tried going up to the bell except it wouldn't let me interact with it so I went back up and now I can't progress through the rest of the quest.

Edit: So apparently I hadn't actually progressed through the questline. What you're supposed to do is get the "O'Mother" emote north of the Bonny Village. Then you use this elusive and out of the way emote at the statue next to the Commander Gaius fog door which then unlocks the area you need to go to. What I don't understand is why even open the basement at all if you're not even supposed to go down there yet. Pretty bad quest design in my opinion.

Yup, done same after 1st ruins. After 2nd ruins, now when You should enter 3rd ruins, i can't interact with this throne anymore

I had the same problem that I couldn't interact with the throne.
I've set a new daytime on a site of grace.
After changing the time it worked for me.

He just doesn't move anymore. Quest is actually softlocked. Thanks Fromsoftware

in my game. we killed each other at the same time at the end of his questline and now i cant end it. im stuck with jolan invading and it just traps me in the arena. i cant get his gear, i cant get his spell, i cant get jolan's weapon or ash.

I think I am softlocked as well. Died in the invasion and now I can't repeat it.

I fell down the ladder and now he wont move

I done the bells out of order and now he wont get off the damn throne for me to unlock the thing

I fixed my issue! I simply asked him about “the nature of the world” and after he stopped talking I TPd to the grace and he was gone

After some time, i was able to do it again & finish this quest. There is hope

I didn't have Ymir questline bug out, but Hornsent and Ansbach are bugged for me. Leda says she's gonna murder Hornsent, but the signs that are supposed to be in the shadow keep just aren't.

Yeah that's because you entered Messmer's arena, it progresses Hornsent quest to the next stage, either an unintended progression or unintuitive design.

Yeah that's because you entered Messmer's arena, it progresses Hornsent quest to the next stage, either an unintended progression or unintuitive design.

I have tried everything, reset at night, morning, I tried to go to the second ruins again...
And he's still on the throne. I think I will continue playing and come back later.

I did them out of order and got unique dialogue of him saying I went to the wrong one and to check the original map
