How do i get there? I already explored the area west of here and fought the boss at church of bud, telling me to need mesmers flame in order to burn the shadow tree at belarut. Do i have to kill mesmer in order to exit the shadow castle on the north/east side aswell? Bonus question: i cant reach the very top floor of the "rotating pillars", searched for a way to lower it but it seems to be locked

It's actually a good bit lower than the castle to exit it, I believe. At moorth ruins there'll be a hidden hole in the ground. Go through it, and it'll eventually lead you down the path where getting to that part of the castle will be a cinch

you need to go to in front of the statue and do the o mother emote just before the boss fight commander gaius
