Anyone else bored?
I can't put my finger on it but I'm just finding the DLC very boring and feel 0 motivation to finish it? And I've never had this issue before with any previous souls games DLC but something just feels off here?

Old man here. Don't be rude. Maybe sitting on front of your phone all day has killed your attention span.

Is that why he/she finds the DLC very boring?

Yeah same It's kind of just not as fun as the base game first time playing, was hoping for that same feeling exploring for items and dungeons and exploring the map which was somewhat of a bore in the elden ring dlc for some reason?. I Like the scenery and some bosses but man it was unexpected

Just you bro. I played this ♥♥♥♥ for 21 hours straight yesterday and would've played longer if it wasn't for the fact that I was running on like 3 hours of sleep. 😂

Yeah. I think it's the lack of new weapons, I'm just using my build from the base game because nothing that's dropped so far is better. The first few hours were fun, but fighting Mesmer is like banging your head against a brick wall and I don't really have any incentive to continue, since the DLC didn't add anything that would improve my build.

Edit: Maybe I'll try leveling p to lvl 200 instead of 150... NG+ is rough at this level, maybe an increase in damage is what I need.

Adventuring and getting scadutree upgrades would help if you just choose to go that way...

for me it's knowing the only way to get stronger in the dlc if i'm having trouble somewhere is to go out and find more scadutree fragments. there's no new spell, weapon, piece of gear, or amount of levels i can get to help me in the fight. the ONLY thing to do is find more scadus. i hate it so much. it's such bad game design.

starting to. Doing the same stuff over and over again and a boss 20 times gets real dull. Even summoning people they die very fast also.

The dungeons/caves/etc. feel like they're spread way too thinly. There's a lot of vast expanses of nothing a'la the Snowfields/Shadowtop of Giants from the base game, so exploring feels a bit more like a chore.

I love the first Dark Souls, skipped 2. Got bored in 3. Loved Elden Ring. But I am hesitant to dive into the DLC because I have a feeling I will get bored. I only stopped playing Elden Ring cuz I got bored. I did beat it several times though.
