Why does Rellana, Twin Moon Knight not have a summoning pool stake?
This is, so far, the coolest boss I've fought in the DLC, but it's also the only one that doesn't seem to have a summoning pool. Unless I'm missing it why wouldn't they give a rememberance boss a summoning pool. Only one so far I'd want to re-fight.

Yeah it's odd but I think it's to weed out chaff from the automated pooling. It's a fight that takes a bit of finesse. I do a lot of the automated pooling and I've climbed that castle for players 100 times, no joke.

A fight like the lion puppet you can just get lucky and brute your way through it. Making players lay summons at the Renalla fight door ensures you are getting people who are there specifically for that fight who are dedicated.

There needs to be an upgraded version of the auto pooling stick for the best co op players, or at the least, an encounter filter.

I'm pretty sure you can summon an NPC for that fight. Leda maybe.

Leda makes that fight so much easier.

Do not summon Leda, it's a bad NPC for that fight.

I don't need a summon. I already beat her. I just want to be able to send my sign there so I can get her fight along with the other bosses I like fighting.

She doesn't because the room before the stairs has a site of grace in it. With the way multiplayer areas work, that 15ft area between the stairs and the fog wall would become an invasion area if they put a summoning pool there.

It's the reason you can invade in the Elden Throne-Radagon corridor and the Malenia-Prayer Room staircase, and it's probably part of the reason we can deactivate summoning pools now. They can't remove those cause they're endgame bosses but don't want that sh*tshow again

I think you're reading too much into it. It seems like they simply forgot to.

Just place sign in front of boss fog.

I currently play with new character but when I played DLC
I was summoned constantly if I placed sign near boss fog.

I don't believe that there ever was. I don't really engage with co-op until I experience the content for myself, so I may have just missed it, but I played through the whole DLC before it ever got patched and I don't think that Rellana ever had a pool.
