Scadutree fragments not appearing in inventory and cannot level up my blessing anymore

I've gotten six scadutree fragments and still cannot upgrade my blessing, it asks for two and then says I don't have enough. What's going on here? Is this a glitch or have I reached a part of the story where it won't let you level them up until I do something?

Now i've just killed the golden hippo, which drops two scadutree fragments, they show up on the side of my screen saying I picked them up and then do not appear in my inventory nor can I upgrade my blessing. This is proof positive its a glitch, and I don't want to gather any more before its fixed, God knows if I'll get these eight lost ones back.

Hi, I noticed the same thing was happening to me only to realize that my inventory was full, so every new item grabbed (scadutree fragments included) was automatically being transferred to my chest. I'd suggest you to check out your chest at a site of grace :)
