Fromsoftware lost its musical touch?

When I compare Elden Ring to Dark Souls 3, I can't help but notice that the music in Elden Ring just doesn't hit the same emotional highs anymore . The soundtracks in "The Ringed City or dark souls 3 in General" (Gael) or (midir) really add to the atmosphere, making everything feel more intense and sometimes hopeless. But in elden Ring , the music feels more like background noise and doesn't have the same impact.

I wonder why FromSoftware can't seem to capture that same musical magic anymore. Did the music not get as much attention this time around? Maybe they took a different approach or had changes in the team responsible for the soundtrack. Whatever the reason, the music in Elden Ring just doesn't live up to my expectations and doesn't give me the chills like Dark Souls 3 did....
